I painted this Cornish stone in white acrylic paint and hand drew the line, finishing it off with a layer of acrylic. varnish.
The stone depicts a swallow sleeping on the wing. For me this is either a symbol of the unconscious mind getting on with it’s thing while we get on with the practical things of life, or the need to turn off your mind and just let yourself go with the flow.
It is a lovely object to hand on a wall or stand unsupported on a flat surface
